MaryJo Mastrogiacomo

MaryJo Mastrogiacomo is a Licensed Master Social Worker who earned her Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from Fordham University. Since 1998, she has dedicated her career to supporting disabled adults, seniors, their loved ones, and caregivers as they navigate the complex realities of aging, long-term care, and life transitions.

With nearly three decades of professional experience, MaryJo specializes in adult and senior care management, Medicaid eligibility and application strategy, Pooled Income Trust enrollment, and long-term care planning. Her work involves helping individuals and families manage the often overwhelming process of coordinating care, organizing documentation, and making important decisions about the future.

As a trained social worker and Certified Advanced Social Work Case Manager, MaryJo conducts comprehensive assessments to evaluate each client's situation and develop a clear plan of action. She then works closely with individuals and families to guide them through the process with professionalism, compassion, and respect.

Over the years, MaryJo's role has naturally evolved beyond traditional case management. Through both professional experience and personal insight , she has come to view her work as that of a guide and coach for individuals and families navigating the emotional, practical, and financial challenges that often arise as we grow older.

She understands that conversations about aging, long-term care, and future planning can be difficult and emotional. Many individuals and caregivers simply need a knowledgeable professional who will listen, provide clarity, and help them move forward with confidence.

MaryJo believes strongly in the value of being proactive about aging. While change is inevitable as we move through life, many of the stresses families face can be reduced when we talk openly about our wishes, anticipate future needs, and create a thoughtful plan.

Her goal is to help individuals and families replace uncertainty with clarity, reduce stress for themselves and their loved ones, and move forward with greater peace of mind while enjoying the years ahead.

To better serve the diverse community she works with, MaryJo also has a working knowledge of Italian and Spanish.

When you or a loved one is in need of long term care, numerous challenges can be expected. The added stress of these challenges, in conjunction with the Medicaid application process, can become extremely overwhelming.

My guidance and expertise will make the process smooth and comforting.
